THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE GERMAN SOCIETY OF NURSING SCIENCE
MAY 4TH – 5TH, 2018 IN BERLIN
Due to the professional identity and the ongoing decreasing of nurses patient perspective is ever becoming a sensitive topic. We would like to provide an open form to discuss clinical care to brainstorm solutions. We also invite attendees to openly ponder the broad spectrum of research results regarding to nursing interventions in different settings.
One serious challenge is theory development. We want to encourage a discussion to strengthen the theoretical foundation of all steps of the nursing process.
Another constant challenge we face is to shape methods from social and natural science regarding the objectives of nursing research. Some steps have been taken to debate methodological matters in this direction, but there were only the beginning.
Globally nursing practices are restricted by structural conditions including budget, politics, nursing shortage and bureaucracy. One important questions in this field is: How do we deal with ’Rationing – Missed Nursing Care’ like it is called in the COST-Action 15208.
The aim of the conference is to inspire each other and kindle imagination of all who attend.
